Sorry, Leon.
Leon, my FedEx driver, has a sore back and I’m not helping it.
Leon’s used to delivering books to me. Sometimes a heavy Salgado edition, maybe a smaller, lighter copy of a book by W. Eugene Smith or Robert Frank.
Today, I was his last stop and he again had books…2053 lbs of books to be exact.
Leon was not happy… I was.
My new book – Jimmy Carter – Photographs 1970 – 2010 had arrived.
We’re now sending out the preorders and getting ready for the coming week’s trip to the Carter Presidential Library in Atlanta and then on to the official release next Saturday in Plains, Georgia – home of President Carter.
If you’re in the area on Saturday morning, I hope you’ll stop by Jill Stuckey’s in downtown Plains where we’ll be meeting friends and signing books.
