A 40 Year Anniversary and You’re Invited!
This year – 2016 – marks the 40th anniversary of a grassroots presidential campaign that swept a virtually unknown farmer into the highest office in the land.
We’re celebrating by inviting you to Plains – the hometown of President Carter this Saturday morning, September 24th, as we meet friends – both old and new – for the book release of Jimmy Carter – Photographs 1970 – 2010.
We’ll be at Jill Stuckey’s home at 100 West Church St in Plains, Ga., just across from the little Plains railroad depot that once served as Carter’s hometown campaign headquarters.
If you’re in the area, stop by!
If you can’t make it, the book is available at www.CarterBook.com.
Priced at $21.95, all profits go to the global humanitarian missions of the Carter Center.
We hope to see you Saturday in Plains!
